Last week, Cypher Media had the privilege of providing AV assistance to a well known global healthcare and pharmaceutical company. The one-day hybrid event consisted of seven experts conducting thirty minute presentations with Q&A from both in person and virtual attendees.
The 2nd Annual Haematology Seminar for this year was hosted at The Hilton, London Euston. In this dynamic landscape, the seminar was to be hybrid to account for the busy lives of experts in the haematology field. This one-day event seamlessly merged both in-person and online participants.
For this event, we provided a digital audio console with an amplifier, equipped with four Nexo speakers. A shotgun lectern microphone & an 8-way microphone system consisting of x6 tie clips and x2 handhelds. We chose this to accommodate enough microphones for each presenter. The two handhelds were to be given to any in-person attendees with questions so that the virtual audience could hear them. For video, we supplied an 8,000-lumen data projector fitted with an ultra-short-throw lens for front projection in limited space, this was used in conjunction with a seamless video matrix switcher.
The cameras we provided included a Sony PXW-Z150 4K HDR camera to capture the room on a wide shot, also useful for cutaways on the livestream, and a Sony PMW-350K for those close-up headshots. We also provided a remote operated PTZ camera that was placed at the front of the room. This was proven to be useful during the Q&A elements for the livestream as it allowed us to cut to an attendee-facing shot for the stream.
