The month of May led the team to Sunny Lisbon where we'd provide AV and general tech assistance for this years' CFO Forum. Take a look at the kit and solutions we provided whilst onsite.
Plenary Room
Set & Stage
The plenary room features a 17m wide by 3.5m high set with a printed backdrop in the center. It includes two 3.65m x 2.1m front projection screens for clear visibility. The 11m x 2m stage, set at 300mm high, is finished with grey carpet and black curtain valence, with steps on either side. A jubilee lectern with a mic and an L-shaped crew surround to conceal technical equipment completes the setup.
Data/Video
The video system includes two Panasonic PT-MZ880 WUXGA 8,000-lumen projectors controlled by a Blackmagic ATEM 2 M/E Constellation HD Switcher. The setup features main and backup content laptops, with additional laptops for clock, notes, and Slido. Two 55" Iiyama comfort monitors display content to presenters, supported by a V6 cue light system. Connectivity is ensured with HDMI-SDI/SDI-HDMI converters and various SDI cables.
Sound
The sound system, driven by an Allen & Heath SQ5 Digital Mixing Desk, includes four Nexo PS10 R2 speakers, Nexo ID24 front-fill and fold-back speakers, and an eight-way radio microphone system with tie clip and handheld mics. Two Audix lectern mics are also included, alongside a dedicated playback laptop and a six-way talkback kit for crew communication.
Lighting, Power & Rigging
Lighting is controlled via an Avolites Quartz Titan desk, with Chauvet LED Pars and profile lights providing stage wash and set illumination. Power is managed by a 63A TPNE distribution unit with Socapex cables. Rigging is supported by scaffolding, ensuring a secure and effective setup.
