Friends of the National Library of Medicine Livestream

We recently had the opportunity to assist one of our US-based clients with a fully virtual livestream event, providing a seamless and professional experience for both presenters and attendees. Take a look at how we make it work...

Our approach is simple: if you can join a Zoom call, you can present on our livestream. We understand that presenters need a hassle-free experience, so we make it easy for them to connect and deliver their content confidently. Before each event, presenters receive a personalised link to a Zoom call, along with clear instructions on what to expect. We encourage them to join at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time, allowing us to conduct a quick briefing and answer any last-minute questions.

Once connected, our team takes over the technical aspects. Each presenter's feed is seamlessly pulled into our livestreaming software, where we integrate it into professionally branded templates. This ensures a polished, on-brand presentation that aligns with the client’s identity. From there, the livestream is broadcast to the audience with high-quality visuals and audio, creating an engaging and immersive experience.

Interactivity is key to a successful virtual event, which is why we integrate live Q&A using Slido. By embedding a Slido panel directly alongside the livestream, attendees can easily submit their questions in real time. This creates a dynamic and engaging session, allowing presenters to respond directly to audience queries, fostering a more interactive and inclusive environment.
