This week the Cypher crew are in Dublin for the first International Tax and Legal conference of 2019. We’ll be catering for up to 800 delegates across our 22 rooms of event space. It’s our first of three IT & LA’s this year, soon to be followed up in March where we’ll be flying out to Copenhagen to manage the next academy!
The trucks arrived on Sunday and our crew of 25 have been working hard since to set up and maintain this conference being hosted in The Clayton Hotel. The beautiful main stage has been designed so that it can be used as one large 42.3m stage, but it can also be used as three different breakout rooms with wall divisions. Each individual backdrop stands at 3.6m tall and 12m wide, each with a 16:9 ratio screen built in.
This event is the perfect opportunity for us to test out some of our newly purchased kit, such as our Sony XDCAM PXW-FS5. We’re also using our very own updated and improved Cypher POD, or Programmable Onsite Display. Our real-time multi-display timetable system brings lots of flexibility when it comes to making on-site changes to the timetable schedule as it’s so quick and easy to send an update, they also auto-refresh meaning the update is instantaneous. If you’d like to know more about the different types of bespoke websites we can provide, please feel free to read through our previous article on it here.
On top of that, we’re also bringing back some things we’ve used in the past, such as our magic mirror. This is a 65” one-way mirror with embedded touch technology, the mirror uses a DSLR for the pictures and has an LED light ring on top. We’ve also brought out a photo wall that creates a perfect background for you and your teams’ photographs and the wall stands at 5.4m wide by 2.2m tall.
